UX
How to reveal complexity a little at a time
Digital solutions can have many features without showing everything at once. Progressive disclosure lets users start with the essentials and open advanced choices when needed.
Real project, Interactive experience
Interactive installation for Akvariet i Bergen where visitors draw a fish and see it swim on screen.

The task was to make the transition from a physical drawing to a digital experience simple enough for children and families to understand without lengthy instructions.
I worked on the concept, illustration and interface for the interactive experience.
The physical drawing and digital experience are connected through a short sequence with one clear action per step.
The flow is reduced to a few clear steps: draw, scan and see the fish on screen. Illustration and UI support the same action.
The finished flow makes a technical process easy to understand: draw the fish, scan it and watch it appear in the digital aquarium.
